Can i cover my tatoo with another?

i am getting my tatoo in about 3 months and i am 17 years old. i dont really want to hear things like, "dont get a tatoo, your so young and you'll regret it. thats my problem and thats what thi question is about. but when i get older and i feel like i shouldn't have gotten a tatoo and it was a mistake, can i got and get a tatoo over it thats the same exact color as my skin (i am mulado and my skin looks mexican) and just cover the tatoo. its going to be 5'' wide and 3'' tall.
