College for Comics and what I should study in school junior and senior year?

First, let me get this straight that I want to draw COMICS NOT MANGA! With that said, I love to draw heroes such as Hellboy and Marv (Sin City) but my counselor told me to look for a good art college. The problem is, none of the online searches are what I'm looking for. Keep in mind money is tight (like most of America). Thanks Conrad.
